I had just move to London and one day, after my usual friday football game, I was hit by the worst lumbago ever. I was in such pain that I couldn’t even walk, sit for more than 5 min, rolling in the bed and worst standing upright. I came to see Emma (Thank you Google!!!) and I couldn’t have made better choice. She is very professional, competent, sympathetic...and fun too! On the first session she treated me with acupunture and then my pain was definitely much better - I could walk upright and mostly sleeping. I saw her few days later for another session of needles and afterwards my problem was completely gone. Thank you Emma!Nonetheless, the clinic is very pleasant, charming and welcoming. If I needed a physio again (hope no) I wouldn’t have no doubt to come back to SE16 Physiotherapy, even if a I had to cross the whole city.
I needed physio following a fractured back, neck & skull. Emma has been amazing and really helped relieve the stiffness in my neck, and regain strength, as well as being really encouraging throughout. She is always listening to and evaluating my responses to exercises. On top of her exceptional knowledge base, I was very impressed when she performed medical acupuncture on my neck to relieve tension which I have found to be very helpful.I also had facial paralysis following nerve damage from the fractured skull. When doctors on the NHS told me it will likely be permanently paralysed and they just left me to it with no recommendations, Emma encouraged me to do facial exercises and I got my movement and sensation back. She is second to none, and highly recommended!
For months I have had a niggle in my left ankle however I Chose to ignore it. I reached the six week mark until I was due to start my Everest Basecamp climb. Though word of mouth I heard about Emma and her clinic and i’m so glad I did. Emma was more than welcoming to her niche clinic in Canada water. She listened to everything I had to say, asked about past injuries and understood my goals. She was genuine when she looked me in the eye and said ‘we will be able to get this fixed’. I felt absolute trust in Emma and her assessment of my ankle. I’ve walked away with a comprehensive treatment plan leading up to my climb.Additionally, The clinic is ideally located a stones throw away from Canada water tube station.
I found the SE16 Physiotherapy service to be fantastic!I’ve been suffering with shin pains in my left leg for a while now. I first felt the pain whilst I was on a long run and since then I havent been able to run without pain.Emma was brilliant at listening to exactly what I was saying . I’ve seen other physios who seem to be going through the motions with you but Emma put me through a comprehensive assessment and I felt reassured with her skills.I was given a clear diagnosis of the injury and why she believed it had occured. Emma then gave me multiple exercises to carry out at home, which she made I understand and that I was carrying them out correctly and provided me with an honest timeframe of recovery. The clinic was very impressive and easy to find and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a detailed answer and solution to injury problems.
Emma’s services were recommended to me by a friend and she did not disappoint. Emma is very professional and friendly in her approach to treatment of physical injuries, Focusing on minor task adaptions and education measures to prevent the pain from returning. For the first time in a long time I feel like my neck pain is under control. She has a lovely clinic, and although a relatively new service , the whole process from booking through to arranging follow-up ran smoothly. The clinic is in a fantastic location and very easy to find. I would highly recommend Emma and her services.
